Emery Gautreau, 85, of Pré-d'en-Haut, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Sunday, July 2. 1995 after a sudden illness.

Born in Pré-d'en-Haut, he was the son of the late Honoré and Marie (Bourque) Gautreau. He was employed as a carpenter until retirement. He attended Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by four sisters, Mme Rufine Galion (Roland) of Tracy, Que., Mme Amanda LeBlanc (Gérard) of Chartersville; Soeur Irma Gautreau (Petite Soeur de Sainte Famille) of Sherbrook, Que., Geneva Gautreau of Pré-d'en-Haut; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Béatrice; two brothers, André and Roméo.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with a Funeral mass to be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut, on Thursday, July 6, 1995 at 7 p.m. Interment in Notre Dame de l'Annonciation cemetery.
